terms
These terms govern your use of the baby-namer commission service. They are written to be readable.
the commission
We will compose a 48-page booklet of 200 first names for you, based on your intake. We will print and ship it to the address you supply. We will host a private password-protected web edition for at least five years. We commit not to delete the digital edition.
the wait
Standard commissions ship 5–7 days after intake. Expedited commissions ship within 48 hours. If we miss the standard window by more than three days for reasons within our control, we will issue a full refund and ship the booklet anyway.
the booklet’s permanence
Per the studio manifesto, the lights stay on. Failed payments do not delete data. If the studio ever ceases operation, every family will receive a final PDF export of their booklet and any rereads, plus a refund of any unfulfilled Reread payments.
reread enrollments
Optional. Cancellable at any time. A reread is a four-page companion booklet shipped on the child’s 9th, 13th, and 18th birthdays. If a reread payment fails, that year’s reread does not ship; the prior booklets remain accessible. The reread schedule is paused on one click, for any reason, including pregnancy loss; we will not prompt you for an explanation.
refunds
Refund within 7 days of intake, no questions, if the booklet has not yet entered editorial. After editorial, a partial refund is available. After ship, the booklet is yours. Write to the agent.
what we will not do
Suggest names of living children of public figures. Suggest slurs. Suggest names in conflict with your stated exclusions. Predict anything about the child. Run advertising trackers in the booklet or the web edition. Send you marketing email after the booklet ships. Train shared models on your intake.
