a note on care

A small subset of our customers will, sometime between intaking the booklet and the moment they would have named the child, lose the pregnancy. We are sorry. We have no words that will help.

If this happens to you, write to the agent. You don't need to explain. We will pause your reread schedule indefinitely. We will not unship your booklet; we will not delete your digital edition; we will not send you marketing email. The booklet stays yours, on your shelf, in case you ever want to look at it again. If you want a re-commission years from now for a different pregnancy, we will compose it at no charge.

If you have lost a pregnancy and would like to commission a booklet for a child who did not get a name, write to the agent. We will do this carefully. There is a tradition for this in many parts of the world. We will not handle it cutely or with platitudes.
